Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Truffles

How can you not like a recipe in which the only ingredients are chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and chocolate?

Perhaps I'll be truly kind and make these for a New Year's treat. It might depend on whether I recieve gifts of cash, since purchasing 4 kinds of Scharffen Berger could set me back... well, let's see how much:

62% Semisweet Scharffen Berger bar $9.50
70% Bittersweet Scharffen Berger bar $9.50
Cocoa Powder $8.50
Cacao Nibs $8.50

...$36.00.

(Plus heavy cream and butter for the ganache, which, yes, I know, means there are ingredients besides chocolate in this recipe.)

Teuscher Champagne Truffles run about $40 a pound. I thought that was expensive, but I don't have to actually make them. Plus? They're filled with champagne buttercream, which is also known as nectar of the Goddesses.

So maybe I'll just make the usual Matzoh Toffee and call it a day.
